On behalf of the Board and Management of Majesty-Realm Hotels Ltd-Uyo, we welcome you joyfully to this occasion of the facility tour of this establishment. We are welcoming you to not just a hotel of quality but a home of comfort, serenity, security and exquisite hospitality.

If we should take you through the memory lane, you will be apprised that this hotel parades an inspiring history of a humble beginning, a narrative that we always love to share. Akin to the common maxim that the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step, the voyage to the current status and stature of Majesty-Realm Hotel started with a single but bold step way back in 2001 when the hotel, majorly financed through bank loans, officially opened for business with only 10 rooms. Physically speaking, the infrastructure appeared little but the vision driving the business was mighty and clothed in majesty, designed to treat customers as kings and queens hence the name Majesty-Realm Hotel.

Encouraged by the admonitions of scripture, we did not despise our small beginning. Rather, we waxed diligently, maintained the focus and ran the facility with hope, holding the mindset of excellence and strict adherence to the tenets of global best practice in the tourism industry.

With God on our side, the hotel has enjoyed and is still enjoying mind-blowing patronage. Arising from the high demand for our facility, the Board was therefore constrained to approach the banks to obtain more loans to finance an expansion program using the facility as collateral.

By 2003, 30 more rooms were added and four years later, precisely in 2007, the hotel witnessed the second major upgrade. A new block with 10 suites was inaugurated and by the end of 2018, the room capacity of the hotel had jumped to 50.

Today, we are proud to announce to the world that Majesty-Realm Hotel has added yet another feather to her cap. We are inviting you here, ladies and gentlemen, to showcase and conduct you round the just completed, fully furnished state-of-the-art building – the latest block in the Majesty-Realm Hotel complex. This new block alone contains 56 rooms and suites, bringing the total number of beds of various categories in this hotel to 106.

Currently, this hotel can boast of world class facilities for recreation, relaxation and conferences. Majesty is complete with a full complement of swimming pool, standard gymnasium, internet, a restaurant that can take 150 guests comfortably at the same time as well as a conference Hall with a seating capacity of 400. It should be noted that the swimming pool, gymnasium and internet facilities are complementary for inhouse guests. We also run commercial laundry services using some of the most modern machines in the industry. As you can see, Majesty is strategically located on plot 166, Lagos Street at the prestigious Ewet Housing Estate Uyo, a safe and secure environment that is easily accessible from the Victor Attah International Airport and other parts of the city of Uyo metropolis.

What about our Cuisines? Our Cuisines are rich and varied. We offer continental and Nigerian dishes with some special indigenous Akwa Ibom delicacies peculiar to Majesty-Realms to satisfy the cultural diversity, taste and predilections of our guests.

Let me, at this juncture, take this opportunity to express the sincere gratitude of the Board and management of Majesty-Realm Hotels Ltd. to Union Bank Plc, Zenith Bank Plc, Access Bank Plc, FCMB and First Bank for believing in us. These banks granted the hotel all the loans with which Majesty-Realm got established and developed to her current state of glory. We do hope that they will not hesitate to support us again whenever we knock on their door in future.
